Exciting times

February provided some very exciting opportunities here at Maple Cottage Homeopathy.

I was asked by a local Girl Guides group if I could help them with their natural remedies badge. Of course I said I would love to help and I have been planning away ready for our meeting later this month, where I will introduce the girls to a few Homeopathic remedies and how they can help us. The girls will also be able to use this knowledge to create a homeopathic combination of remedies (on paper).

I was asked if I would do two talks about Homeopathy at the Creswell Mind, Body and Spirit weekend. I was grateful for the opportunity to share with a wider audience what Homeopathy is and how it works. Although I will admit I did have some rescue remedy before my first talk as I was very nervous. Everyone was lovely however and I was able to share my knowledge with them. I used my banner for the first time which drew lots of attention, and enabled people to see what it is I do from a distance.

I am pleased to say that I have been able to offer four patients the opportunity to have four appointments on a pay what you can basis. Whilst I do not charge the earth for appointment because I believe they should be accessible to all, there are many who are still not able to  afford the cost of Homeopathic treatment. I feel very blessed to be able to offer them this opportunity. All the appointments were booked within 24 hours.

March has got off to a flying start.

I attended the first Nottingham Mind body and Spirit show, which was busy. I forgot to take my banner but it didn’t matter as I  was able to chat to many different people and share what it is that I do and how I can help them. I love attending these events, speaking to those who have never heard of homeopathy or who do not understand how it works, even those who try to pick apart what I say and do. It helps me to simplify what I is I do, how it works and how we know it works and isn’t a placebo effect.

February

After a busy few weeks perfecting my website, I am pleased to announce that my new website is officially up and running. I now have an events page where you can find a list of Mind, Body and Spirit shows and events I am attending. I also have this new blog page to share the goings on here at Maple Cottage Homeopathy and the latest health tips.

Having attended two Mind, Body and Spirit Shows (MBS) at Bolsover one in December and one in January, I was lucky enough to get the chance to speak to experienced stall holders who gave me lots of great tips. I am working with a local company to create a roller banner and I have a list of things I have discovered I would like to add or remove from my stall. I hope to have these things in place ready for the next MBS show at the end of this month at Creswell events Centre.

WATCH THIS SPACE; I love to share the amazing things homeopathy does and so I have put my name forwards to do educational talks at some MBS shows. I starting small at first but this is another learning journey for me, with remedies in my pocket.

Gala., is a remedy for the heart and treats Myocarditis, rapid, irregular, uneven pulse  with violent palpitations. Heart diseases. Mitral insufficiency.
